Just to let everyone know, I've just been speaking with Steve Bishop from MR2 Only Magazine. They've donated £100 to the fund and are going to profile Steve and Ben both before and after their charity run - raising a lot of awareness for CLIC Sargeant.
Tremendous gesture from our friends at MR2 Only.

will keep everyone posted on more developments. thanks all.
Id love to do something like this, especially in an mr2. Good luck!
I have been in touch with Steve about getting some running vests from CLIC for the London Marathon [26th April] and they are on their way to us.
Both myself and my wife are running and I am hoping to drag my 49 year carcass around the course in less than 5 hours - 4.5 would be even better. I am limited on the time I can allocate to collecting funds but I am sure that even a couple of hundred quid would be welcomed and it's another chunk of publicity for the Scum Run team.
Just a update, yesterday I ran 19 miles in 3 hours 23 mins and the weekend before I did 17 miles in 2 hours 54 mins. I am also running 2 x 6 mile runs during the week before work, so barring injury, ilness and the unforseen I should be good to go in 3 months time and swell the Scum Run coffers.
"it's strange, isn't it. You stand in the middle of a library and go 'Aaaaaaagghhhh' and everyone just stares at you. But you do the same thing on an aeroplane, and everyone joins in."
That is an outstanding effort mate, top notch![]()
